About the team
Member of Technical Staff: Build and run production systems. Build systems to power a breadth of productions machine learning use cases. Work with and directly accelerate machine learning researchers. Design, implement, and run production services. Set-up widely used internal frameworks. Deliver and maintain clean, well-documented, tested code. Manage and monitor infrastructure deployments. Debug problems across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks. Balance building new components while improving the foundation. Deploy reliable systems with low error rates. Build new components while improving the foundation on which it all runs using Go and Python. Collaborate with team members to document and improve team processes, design interview questions, review candidate publications and previous contributions, source and help to recruit candidates.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
Must have experience with: designing, implementing, and running production services; managing and monitoring infrastructure deployments; coding and testing standards; high performance computing, machine learning optimizations, and model scaling; building tools to accelerate workflows; distributed systems, robotics, user interfaces, infra, or simulation dynamics; Unix shell; and Python and at least one other programming language: Go or C++.
