About the team
The Applied AI Research team works on innovative solutions to solve practical real-world problems with direct impact on users of the Aika API. We work on open-ended research projects to enable successful products. We care about solving real-world problems, while keeping our products up to a high safety standard. We care about applications driven by user feedback, as well as long-term research with significant impacts on the product.
About the role:
We seek capable and self-motivated Research Engineers to work with us. This role requires good engineering skills, writing bug-free machine learning code, and building the science behind the algorithms employed. The most outstanding deep learning results are increasingly attained at a massive scale, and these results require engineers who are comfortable working in large distributed systems. Combining research with engineering will lead to cutting-edge AI products and most major advances in AI of the future. You will enjoy the role even more if you are motivated by solving real-world problems and building techniques to empower products to benefit the wide public.
